Welcoming Spring

March 20, 2021

Spring is finally here and the Earth is waking up from the long winter. And, hasn’t this winter felt extra long? I’ve been working on fine-tuning the business over these last few winter months and you’ll notice some changes as this year progresses. Some items will be retiring and some new ones will appear…

Spring is a time when I regroup and look towards the rest of the year with hope and promise. It’s often when I throw open the windows, both in my home and in my heart, and sweep out the detritus both figuratively and physically. Now is the perfect time to journal dreams and hopes for the rest of the year and to get out those Smoke Cleansing Wands to expel the stagnant winter energy and usher in fresh, spring awakening.

As I write this, the Narcissus I bought at work this week is in full bloom on my coffee table and is filling my living room with its heady perfume. This is one of my favorite scents. It’s one of those “memory triggers” for me and reminds me of spring in Arizona when my mom’s Narcissus would bloom along the fence line in the backyard. This is the smell of Spring to me.
