Our roots
Earth Spirit was founded in late 2017 by crafter and artisan, Erin Sagadin. Having made jewelry for many years prior, Erin began Earth Spirit in the great Pacific Northwest, as a hand-crafted jewelry business and has expanded into offering Bespoke home and personal care products. Her focus has always been to create unique, elegantly simple jewelry embodying the desert and culture of her childhood home in the southwest. Over the years, Erin has expanded Earth Spirit’s hand-made items to include personal care, apothecary, and candles. All are crafted by her hands, in small batches using the best, most pure ingredients and each item is infused with Erin’s personal intention and Magic.

Erin’s dream for Earth Spirit expanded in October of 2021 into a little sliver of a storefront in her own neighborhood, and she is now able to bring her vision for an expanded Earth Spirit to the community in an even more tangible way. Located in Historic Downtown Kennewick, Washington, Earth Spirit offers a peaceful shopping experience for all. Showcasing Earth Spirit’s handmade products on the shelves, Erin has expanded to carry a variety of gift options from other local and regional, handcrafted, woman-owned, queer-owned, and sustainable business. Erin’s goal has been to create a welcoming space of warmth and a safe respite to everyone in our community, no matter where one may be on their spiritual path; We are proud to now offer a range of after hours classes, weekly events, and the shop is amply Stocked with ritual tools & supplies, books, gift items, jewelry, and personal care products.
Upon opening Our doors and hearts to everyone., We have noticed that our little shop tends to encourage our guests to let their guards down and to feel comfortable enough to unburden their hearts. And, That’s ok. Erin is usually around to lend and ear, make you a cup of tea, offer a hug, and hand you a tissue. One of the things Erin is most proud of in creating this space is that nearly everyone leaves feeling lighter and Vibing higher than they were when they entered,
After not-quite one year in our Downtown location, the Tri-Cities community voted Earth Spirit the Silver Medal winner in the 2022 Tri-Cities Best category of Best Place to Buy a Gift and the next year, we were honored to receive that silver medal again and we were voted the “best Boutique” in the 2023 Tri-Cities Best! Our Process…
Each item bearing the Earth Spirit label is hand-crafted in small batches by our founder, Erin Sagadin. She imbues each piece, whether jewelry, a soothing balm, or a ritual candle with intention, spirit and a little magic. Sustainability, ethical sourcing, and minimal environmental impact informs each of Erin’s decisions when crafting our products. Erin strives to reevaluate her purchasing and supplies regularly to make sure we are offering you the best. From our recyclable and reusable packaging, to our Candle Jar Return policy, Earth Spirit aims to make sure we tread as lightly as possible. And no small business would be possible without a little silliness, a lot of selfies, a bit of beer, and a steady supply of coffee thrown in!
Those of you who have been with Earth Spirit from the beginning will recall the journey we have taken with our packaging and offerings, all with the goal of creating as small a footprint as possible while still offering the highest quality product. Erin’s hope is that each item we offer fills you with a sense of peace, beauty, and value and that you can rest assured that only the best intentions were poured into every product, and that sustainability was considered every step of the way.

Her focus is on carrying handcrafted items from women-owned, minority-owned, and queer-owned companies, keeping sustainability, social-consciousness and ethical sourcing paramount in Her decision making process when choosing new items to carry. Erin constantly strives to carry a bespoke selection of gifts, ritual supplies, and beautiful and functional items for your home while upholding the community and sustainability values she holds dear.
